[Windows Button] + up arrow Maximizes the current window.

[Windows Button] + right arrow Snap current window to right half of current screen. (This is like having a pseudo dual screen. and is great for file copying or comparing documents).

[Windows Button] + spacebar (hold keys) Peeks at the desktop (Temporarily shows desktop).
[Windows Button] + D Minimizes everything to show the desktop. If already in this state the reverse will occur showing everything prior to the first time this command was used. (Great for hiding Windows from parents or the boss).

[Windows Button] + G Brings Gadgets to focus and on top of whatever window is currently open.
[Windows Button] + P Shows presentation and display options. (This is very similar to the Function + F<something> keys that laptops have to extend video out through a secondary monitor or projector. With this command things get a lot easier).
[Windows Button] + U Opens the “Ease of Access Center” aka the old Accessibility Options
[Windows Button] + X Opens the Mobility Center for quick access to features like WiFi.
[Windows Button] + [a number key 1-5] Starts program from the taskbar that corresponds to that number key.
[Windows Button] + + Zoom in with screen magnification. (No more squinting – this feature rocks!)
[Windows Button] + - Zoom out (The reverse of the above command.)
[Windows Button] + L Locks the screen (Goes back to login screen without closing everything that was opened).
